Yesterday, emergency services attended a fire at the site of the former Cockenzie Power Station.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident at 3.54pm.
The SFRS confirmed to the Courier that they sent four appliances to the site.
No-one was injured in the fire, which the Courier understands took place at or near Cockenzie Substation on the south side of the B1348 Edinburgh Road.

On Facebook, East Lothian Council said: “We understand that the incident on part of the Cockenzie Power Station site has now been resolved by emergency services, although emergency services remain on the scene for the time being.”
Previously, East Lothian Council warned people to stay away from the area.
They said: “Emergency services are currently attending an incident on part of the Cockenzie Power Station site.
“Members of the public are advised to stay away from the area at present.
“More information will follow.”
Police Scotland assisted with traffic management during the incident.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 3.54pm on Sunday, 11 August, to reports of a fire at Cockenzie Substation in Prestonpans, East Lothian.
"Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances and specialist resources to the scene where a fire was affecting a transmission substation.
"Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."
