A FIRE has broken out at a former hospital in East Lothian this afternoon.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the former Edenhall Hospital in Musselburgh at 3.04pm.
Four fire engines were sent to the incident.
A nearby resident, who asked to remain anonymous, told the Courier: "The fire looks really bad and the whole place is covered in smoke.
"We have been advised to close our windows due to the worry of asbestos.
"I've been at work and just got back. It's [these incidents] so regular it's getting more and more worrying."
A fire previously occurred at the former hospital on May 19, which resulted in a major response from emergency services.
