A REVAMP of Dunbar Railway Station has been given the green light by East Lothian Council.
ScotRail has been given permission to “enhance the quality of current passenger facilities” within the listed building on the town’s Station Road.
Toilet facilities were described as “dated and in a fair but deteriorating condition” as proposals were lodged to upgrade them.
Non-original doors and facings will be removed and replaced where required, while changes will also be made to the walls.
East Lothian Council’s planning department approved the application after there were no objections from members of the public.
