CHANGES to school services will come into force next week as youngsters return to school.
East Coast Buses will make changes to school services to “help improve boarding times and increase capacity where it is required”.
A £3 adult and £1.50 child flat fare will be introduced on school services 125/126/127 (which serve North Berwick High School) and 128 (for Preston Lodge High School).
Eligible Scottish National Entitlement and Young Scot cards will continue to be accepted on the services.
The morning journey on the 125 will start a couple of minutes earlier to allow more time for boarding.
The 126 will operate a revised route via the A198 instead of Luffness Mains.
An extra morning journey will also be introduced to accommodate a larger number of school pupils heading to North Berwick High School.
Morning services on both the 127 and 128 will also start slightly earlier to allow more time for boarding.
