PLANS for a pharmacy dispenser on Dunbar High Street are being weighed up by East Lothian Council.
Romanes Pharmacy is looking to add a prescription collection machine to its premises at the southern end of the street.
Drawings included with the planning application explain how the machine works.
Customers order their prescription and then are sent a secure pin by text message.
Customers are then free to collect the items at their convenience.
A decision on the application, which has been lodged with the local authority’s planning department, is expected by the end of next month.
