The A1 just outside of East Lothian has reopened in both directions following a crash which has left several people in hospital.
The A1 between Cockburnspath and Grantshouse was closed northbound and southbound due to two cars colliding.
Police Scotland confirmed to the East Lothian Courier that several people were taken to hospital.
They were alerted to the incident at around 10.35 am this morning with the road reopening at 1.25pm

Traffic Scotland alerted road users of the incident at 11.40am.
They left a description of the crash on their site, it reads: "The A1 between Cockburnspath and Grantshouse is closed in both directions due to a road traffic incident.
"Motorists are advised to use an alternative route and expect longer than normal journey times."
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
