A CHARITY football tournament boosting a good cause in Haddington and one overseas will kick off later this summer.
Haddington Athletic CFC is organising a seven-a-side tournament for adults at the 3G pitch on the town’s Whittingehame Drive.
The competition, which it is hoped will feature 12 teams, will raise funds for Our Community Kitchen and Scottish Football for Rwanda.
Our Community Kitchen meets in the town’s bowling club and was set up to tackle social isolation by getting people round the table to enjoyed a home-cooked meal.
Meanwhile, Scottish Football for Rwanda aims to help children in one of the world’s poorest nations to develop a love of the game.
The tournament is due to be played from 1pm to 4pm on August 18.
