A MUSSELBURGH resident has been sentenced to an unpaid work order after he was caught in possession of a quantity of Class A drugs.
Cameron Murray, of Edenhall Crescent, was found in possession of cocaine by police officers on Tranent High Street on April 7 last year.
The 21-year-old admitted the offence during a hearing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month and sentence was deferred for social work reports.
He was back in the dock at the city centre court last Friday, where Sheriff John Cook ordered him to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work.
