A CHANCE for people to try coastal rowing is being offered next weekend.
Boatie Blest Coastal Rowing Club is having a ‘come and try’ session at Port Seton Harbour next Saturday (August 3).
The county club has been running since 2010.
Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to have a go.
The club provide lifejackets and all the instructions but people attending are encouraged to bring waterproofs and a pair of wellies or shoes they do not mind getting wet.
The Cockenzie and Port Seton-based club has regular training rows and competes in regattas across Scotland.
To register an interest in the come and try session, email boatieblest1@gmail.com or attend on the day and join in one of the taster sessions (2-4pm approximately).
There will also be an opportunity to meet with club members and enjoy refreshments.
