POLICE are making enquiries after a man was reported to be acting suspiciously in an East Lothian village.
Officers received reports yesterday of the man's behaviour in close to Luffness Court, Aberlady.
The Courier understands that a number of residents were concerned about a man possibly attempting to gain access to properties during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received reports of a male acting suspiciously in the Luffness Court area of Aberlady on Tuesday, July 23.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
