A SERIES of workshops looking at “how people can tread more softly with earth’s resources” gets under way this weekend.
Random Acts of Kindness takes place throughout Dunbar from today (Saturday) until August 8, before an exhibition in John Muir’s Birthplace in September.
The free creative workshops involve North Light Arts, bookbinder Cass Barron and artist Anna Davis, who will reflect on nature.
The opening session, on Saturday, will offer people the chance to create their own nature journal before a guided walk is planned.
An opportunity to make a mini plantable book and papermaking with recycled materials is offered next Thursday (July 25), before a nature writing workshop on August 3. Cyanotype and monoprinting with nature is offered on August 8, as well as the chance to make artist books inspired by nature.
