A PUTTING competition dating back more than 100 years returns to North Berwick next week.
The Calder Cup was first played for in 1920 and begins with qualifying on Tuesday, between 10am and 6pm.
The finals will be held at 6pm on Thursday (July 25) before the cup is presented to the winner.
The competition, organised by North Berwick Community Council, takes place at the East Links Putting Green at the Quadrant.
Younger participants can also take part as the Crawford Cup runs concurrently for under-14s.
The qualifiers for the Crawford Cup take place on Tuesday from 10am to 6pm.
The finals for the event are at 11am on Thursday. Entry is £5 for over-14s and £2 for under-14s.
People can enter at the starter’s hut on the day.
There will be a range of prizes and vouchers to be won, and a barbecue for all to enjoy on finals night.
