A PRESTONPANS man has been fined after he behaved in an aggressive manner at a primary school.

Edinburgh Sheriff Court was told that Sean Clelland began shouting and swearing after he turned up at Wallyford Primary School on February 8 last year.

Clelland also lashed out and was said to have struck and kicked a door during the disturbance.

The 38-year-old appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Thursday, where he pleaded guilty to the offence.

The Crown agreed to delete the words “and make threatening gestures” from the complaint before Clelland’s guilty plea. Clelland, of Schaw Road, was fined £270.
