MEMBERS of Castlepark Bowling Club in Prestonpans will be celebrating the centenary of the club at a special event this Saturday.
The club was officially formed in 1924 when the greens were lain, after years of voluntary labour by residents determined to have a local bowling club.
On Saturday, to mark a century of the club, Castlepark Bowling Club has invited a number of guests to play a fours competition.
Representatives from East Lothian Bowling Association, Bowls Scotland and Prestongrange Bowling Club will be in attendance.
After the game, there will be a sit-down meal and speeches, followed by music.
The 100th birthday celebrations are set to get under way at 1.30pm.
