The B1345 connecting Drem and Dirleton was closed following a serious accident this morning
A BUSY road closed for more than eight hours, following a serious crash involving a motorcycle and an HGV, has now re-opened.
The two-vehicle crash was reported at about 7.30am and the road was closed in both directions.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area.
The condition of those involved in the crash is unknown and Police Scotland have been approached for a comment.
