A MUSSELBURGH woman will return to court next month for sentencing after she admitted attacking a house in the town with rocks.
Jessie Rennie launched the missiles at the windows of the property on Delta Road, causing them to smash, on April 17, 2022.
Rennie, of New Street, then assaulted Michelle Freeman by seizing her by the hair and pulling her hair, before going on to punch her victim to the head.
The police were called out to deal with the disturbance and Rennie was arrested. After the 42-year-old had been taken to St Leonard’s Police Station, in Edinburgh, she proceeded to assault PC Clare Allan by spitting on her body.
Rennie pleaded guilty to the three offences during a previous hearing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court and was due to be sentenced last week.
But when the case was called, the court was told that the required social work reports were still not available.
Sentence was further deferred to next month.
