A RANGE of organisations have been awarded a share of nearly £100,000 by the North Berwick Trust.
A share of £99,352 has been granted to 13 projects in the trust’s recent spring grants round. North Berwick Christmas Lights committee was awarded £20,000 for its 2024 display.
North Berwick Mental Health Project has been given £15,000, while £16,000 has been awarded for new floodlights at North Berwick Tennis Club.
Leuchie House’s guest engagement program was given £10,347, while Haddington Citizens Advice Bureau was given £8,682.
The trust said: “The trust is delighted to share that £99,352.50 has been awarded to support 13 projects in our most recent spring 2024 grants round.
“Over £1.5 million has now been awarded in total to over 200 community projects and individuals in need since North Berwick’s ‘Forever Fund’ opened in 2018.
“As we mark the 50th anniversary of North Berwick Trust, we are proud of the difference we have made to our community as a local grant maker.”
The fund next opens for applications on August 21, closing on October 2. Grants of up to £32,000 are available for projects which meet the criteria and one or more of the trust’s funding themes.
