NORTH Berwick's new lifeboat has been called out for the first time.
The town’s RNLI crew launched the lifeboat at 2.38pm on Sunday to assist the Scottish Ambulance Service and North Berwick Coastguard Rescue Team with their response to a medical incident.
While en route to the incident, the volunteer team were stood down.

The new RNLI D-Class lifeboat SUNIJO was named at a ceremony earlier this month and will serve in North Berwick over the next decade.
