LANDLUBBERS and experienced sailors are being urged to stop off at Dunbar Harbour next month.
Live music, craft stalls and the chance to take to the open sea are being offered as part of the Sparkling Dunbar Harbour Festival.
The annual event, now in its 12th year, is organised by Dunbar Harbour Trust. This year’s festival takes place on August 3 from 1pm to 8.30pm.
A spokesperson encouraged people heading along to embrace the pirate theme.
They said: “Enjoy great live music, with the magnificent Just Jovi as headliners, and dance the night away with the Armstrong Ceilidh Band.
“Also, for your entertainment youth dance, audience Zumba and children’s activities.
“Browse the creative craft stalls and find out more about fantastic charitable organisations.
"Take part in the rowing and archery tasters on offer.”
There will also be the chance to enjoy stand-up paddleboarding courtesy of Coast to Coast, while Dunbar Sailing Club will welcome visiting yachts, with a prize for the best dressed boat.
Refreshments will also be provided and more information is available at facebook.com/dunbarharbour
