TWO people swimming were attended to by the RNLI North Berwick Lifeboat crew over the weekend.
The lifeboat volunteers heard reports of swimmers in difficulty on Saturday about 300 metres off shore in Milsey Bay.
After receiving the page at about 9.20am, they launched after nine minutes.
The volunteers arrived with the people safely reaching the shore.
Online, the RNLI North Berwick team said: "North Berwick Lifeboat volunteer crew were requested to launch at 9.19am to reports of two swimmers in difficulty about 300m off shore in Milsey Bay.
"From paging to launching took an impressive nine minutes.
"Prior to arrival at scene all person were confirmed as having reached the shore."
