A GROUP focusing on the east of Haddington is encouraging people to get involved with their activities.
Haddington East Tenants and Residents Association examines issues ranging from speeding and parking to repairs and improvements in the area.
The group, which covers streets east of Dunbar Road, and from Abbots View to Seggarsdean, holds its annual general meeting on Monday.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting in the Nungate and Haddington Community Centre from 7pm.
A spokesperson for the group said: “The current committee will step down and we will be looking to elect a new chair, vice-chair, secretary and treasurer.
“The AGM will be followed by our usual meeting, where we will be discussing local issues that affect the community in this area such as the Riverside Bridge replacement project, the repairs and improvements being made in the area, and ongoing traffic issues such as speeding and parking.”
