A ScotRail train
TRAIN crew shortages have again caused cancellations to rail services between East Lothian and Edinburgh this week.
Alerts were issued this morning for those travelling to or from the city this afternoon, and today’s update sees cancellations in East Lothian for the third consecutive weekday.
These latest cancellations follow on from four ScotRail services being cancelled on both Friday last week and Monday this week.
The four journeys - the 3.38pm to North Berwick and the 4.23pm from North Berwick, and the 2.16pm to Dunbar from Edinburgh and 3.01pm from Dunbar – will not be running "due to a shortage of train crew".
ScotRail has been contacted for comment.
