Members of the North Berwick Scout Group didn't let the bad weather damper their spirits at their recent group camp.
Over 100 girls and boys met up at Fordell Firs campsite in Dunfermline on June 8-9 with the group getting stuck into activities.
Over the weekend, county members of the scout group took part in bell boating, crate stacking, climbing, archery, abseiling, caving, bushcraft, zip lining, bungee trampolining, tomahawk throwing and even sumo suit wrestling.
In the evenings, they even turned their hands to evening campfire entertainment with songs and skits galore when the daytime activities were done.
During their two-day stint, friends were made, fears were conquered and skills were learned, with many adult volunteers joining in on the fun.
1st North Berwick Scout Group are currently looking for volunteers in various roles so if you’d be interested in helping young people in your local community to develop skills for life, whether as part of the team leading the adventure or supporting from behind the scenes, they’d love to hear from you.
