CHANGES to four East Lothian bus services will come into force from next Sunday (June 30).

The 120, 121, 123 and 130 services from Eve Coaches, which was purchased by Lothian Buses group, were announced earlier this month.

A spokesperson for the bus company said: “Minor timetable changes will simplify routes and improve reliability while also improving access to the wider Lothian network.

“These changes have been made following full consultation with East Lothian Council.”

The 120 Dunbar to North Berwick service will no longer operate via Kellie Road and Lochend Road and will instead remain on Spott Road.

Meanwhile, buses will no longer divert via Dunbar Grammar School and will instead remain on the A1087.

The 121 North Berwick to Haddington service will no longer divert via North Berwick High School and buses will operate direct from Haddington Road to Lochbridge Road.

The Gifford Circles (123) service will see all buses depart from Haddington High Street and operate via B6368/Sidegate/Poldrate.

All short loop journeys will operate clockwise, via Gifford and then Bolton, while long loop journeys will serve Glenkinchie Distillery and Long Cram in Haddington.

However, the service will no longer serve Haddington's Lynn Lea Avenue, Seggarsdean Crescent and Briery Bank.

Finally, “minor” changes are being made to the Monday to Friday and Saturday timetable for the 130 service, which connects Dunbar the villages of Stenton and Spott.
