An exhibition celebrating a historic county bus company is on display at a village library this month.
Wiles Buses was founded in July 1924, when Terence Wrigley Wiles took over a small business in Port Seton which included a a model T Ford taxi and a Ford 14-seat Charabanc.
Until Hogmanay 1989, Wiles ran buses the length and breadth of the county and beyond, one bus even travelled some 6,000 miles to the Indian Ocean.
For many it was a day tour, for others it was the School bus to Preston Lodge High School, for many it was a trip down to the Pond at Port Seton.
A display celebrating the historic company is running at Longniddry Library throughout this month until June 29.
A cabinet with models of the buses is featured, with display boards detailing the history and timeline of the business also on display.
The display is open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm and Saturday mornings 10am-1pm.
