TWO county drug dealers have been ordered to carry out unpaid work in the community as punishment.

Taylor Doyle, of Beach Lane, Musselburgh, and Jordan Shaw, of Riverside Drive, Haddington, admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis to others from an address in Dalkeith between August 26, 2021, and July 27, 2022.

Doyle, 30, was sentenced to 225 hours of unpaid work and 26-year-old Shaw was told to complete 180 hours as punishments for their offending.

Co-accused 33-year-old Marty Fox, of Millerhill, also pleaded guilty to the offence and he was sentenced to a 12-month offenders’ supervision order and a 225-hour unpaid work order.

All three pleaded guilty at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month and were sentenced by Sheriff Matthew Auchincloss at the Capital court last Tuesday.
