A CAR boot sale has raised £565 for a skin charity.
The Inner Wheel Club of Tranent held a successful car boot sale at Longniddry Parish Church last month, in aid of DEBRA UK, which supports those living with the rare, painful, genetic skin blistering condition epidermolysis bullosa (EB), also known as Butterfly Skin.
A spokesperson for the club said: “The Inner Wheel Club of Tranent held a very successful car boot sale recently and the glorious sunshine helped its success.
“The club wishes to thank all those who booked a car, browsed and bought goods, drinks and goodies from the café.
“A big thank you, too, to our small team who ran the café and all our brilliant bakers and generous donators of food from our Inner Wheel Club.”
