A mural, dedicated to a long-time member of Harlawhill Day Care Centre, has been painted within the centre in Prestonpans.
The colourful mural, painted by local singer and artist Alex Hodgson, was dedicated to member Davie Kiman, who passed away in April this year aged 85.
Davie, who had a love for running and stayed energetic throughout his life, attended the centre for 15 years and was one of the longest attending members.
The mural, organised by his wife Nessie, celebrates Davie as well as his many friends at the centre including pets and family.
Fellow-member Phamie was delighted to see her little dog Kylie feature on the display.
A spokesperson for the Harlawhill Centre said: “It was a special day for us all as we invited Nessie Kiman to officially unveil our new wall mural painted by the multi-talented Alex Hodgson.
“The mural was paid for by a generous donation from Nessie and has been dedicated to the memory of her late husband Davie who was one of our longest attending members who recently passed away.
“Davie along with a few other Harlawhill characters feature on the wall, such as Phamie's little dog Kylie, Dr Gracie who started our charity and our late chairperson Jean Thompson.
“Nessie enjoyed her visit and spent some time with her cousin Jessie who is a member. Thank you Nessie for this amazing gift which certainly brightens up the room and keeps the memories alive for us all!”
