A planning application has been lodged to build a three-storey home in a town centre gap site.

Complete with a roof terrace and three bedrooms, the plans say it will be for residential use.

The empty land, situated between two apartment complexes, is located on St Andrew Street, North Berwick.

The applicant is a Mr Ben Woods, of Whitekirk, whose agents, APT Planning & Development, submitted the proposals.

A planning statement says: "The application site is found on St Andrew Street within the North Berwick settlement and North Berwick Conservation Area.

"It is a gap site between two existing residential properties and benefits from a dedicated car parking space [to the rear of the site off Law Road] and frontage onto St Andrew Street."
