Edinburgh Sheriff Court
A MIDLOTHIAN man has appeared on petition at Edinburgh Sheriff Court charged with attempted murder.
Daniel Byrne appeared in the court last Wednesday (May 30) and is due to appear again on Friday.
The 25-year-old faced two charges – hamesucken, assault to severe injury, danger to life and attempted murder; and Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995 S49 (1).
Mr Byrne no plea and the case was committed for further examination. He was remanded in custody.
A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital following an alleged assault on Musselburgh's Park Lane in the early hours of last Tuesday.
