The summer fair at Pinkie St Peter’s School in Musselburgh is back after five years.
The event is on Friday, June 21, from 2pm to 5pm.
The fun-filled afternoon will feature games and entertainment. A range of stalls and activities are also planned at the fair. They include an ice cream van, beat the goalie, bouncy castle, face painting, tombola, story time, family Zumba, craft fun, sponge throwing, selfie station, uniform swap, art exhibition and food stalls.
Doug Broadley, chair of Pinkie St Peter’s Parent Council, said: “We are really excited to be able to hold the summer fair again this year. Due to the pandemic we had to stop the fair. Since then there has been extensive building works at the school adding on the brand-new nursery as well as the new gym hall. This meant that there was no area within the school that we could safely hold a fair until now.”
He added: “The fair is designed to bring the Pinkie community together. It is a fun social event as well as raising some money for the parent council so that we can continue to support the children of the school and nursery. We would love to see as many people as possible come along for a wide mix of fun activities, stalls, arts and crafts, ice cream and home baking.”
