THREE people involved in a two-car accident on the A1 this morning have been taken to hospital.
Traffic Scotland highlighted the incident on the westbound section of the route, which passes through the heart of the county, shortly after 9am.
They advised motorists to use an alternative route.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called at around 8.40am on Sunday, 2 June to a report of a crash on the A1 near Bankton involving two vehicles.
“Emergency services attended and three people were taken to hospital for treatment.
“The road was closed and re-opened around 11.15am.”
