PREPARATIONS are well under way ahead of Aberlady Gala day.
A range of activities have been taking place throughout the week ahead of the big day tomorrow (Saturday).
On gala day, the crowning ceremony takes place at Aberlady playing fields from 12.30pm to 1pm.
The gala parade will leave the playing fields at 1pm and tour the village, with North Berwick Pipe Band leading, before returning to the playing fields for 1.30pm, where games will begin.
A bucking bronco, inflatables, raffle and games will be on offer until 3.30pm.
From 1.30pm, a balloon man show will take place, while food and drink will also be available from the gala barbecue, tea tent, tuck shop, pizza van and ice cream van.
A baking competition takes place in the tea tent during the day, with judging at 1pm.
Family Zumba will be on offer from 2pm, and kids’ races will take place at 2.30pm.
Live music will also be played from 2.30pm, featuring sets from talented locals.
Tug-o-war challenges take place at 3pm.
The gala fun will conclude at 7pm.
