A section of a key town road will be closed for almost a month due to drainage works.
Church Street in Tranent will close from its junction with Elder Court to its junction with Winton Place from July 1 until July 27 to allow for drainage works to be completed.
Diversions will be in place through Prestonpans as a result of the closure.
A lengthy diversion route will be in place along Church Street, the A198 past Wallyford towards Prestonpans through the B1361, Gardiner Terrace Mid Road and onto Edinburgh Road and Bridge Street, Tranent.
Road users should plan carefully to avoid delays.
