A MAN has been ordered to pay a fine after he struggled with police officers during an incident in Edinburgh.
Fintan Alongi repeatedly shouted, swore and made offensive remarks towards the officers at the city’s Niddry Street on December 18, 2022.
Alongi, of Merryhatton Cottages, near Haddington, also struggled with the officers and refused to co-operate with them during the arrest procedure.
He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Monday, where he pleaded guilty to the offence.
The 26-year-old was fined £190.
