ANTI-SOCIAL behaviour along East Lothian’s coastline is being targeted in a series of joint patrols.
Police officers teamed up with East Lothian Council Countryside Rangers on Friday to visit Levenhall Links, Longniddry Bents, Yellowcraig and Tyninghame Links.
A spokesperson for the countryside rangers confirmed there were plans for further patrols.
They said: “We are working together to try and tackle some of the issues occurring on our sites, such as anti-social behaviour, irresponsible camping and fires.
“Friday saw some great, positive engagement with a variety of groups, and we hope to continue these patrols throughout the summer.”
