ONE person was injured after a collision involving two vehicles near Tranent.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision on the B6371 near Charles River Laboratories at about 6.24pm yesterday.
Fire crew mobilised two appliances to the scene, at which two vehicles had been involved in a collision.
One person was left in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 6.24pm on Wednesday, May 22 to reports of a road traffic accident at the B6371 near Tranent.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to a collision involving two vehicles.
“One casualty was in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and crews assisted emergency service partners by making the area safe before leaving the scene.”
