Primary 5 pupils from Windygoul Primary School in Tranent paid a visit to Dunbar Harbour alongside East Lothian Council Countryside Rangers.
The educational trip was part of the group’s John Muir Award, which encourages young people to connect and care for wild places.
A spokesperson for the countryside rangers said: “It was great to have some of the P5s from Windygoul Primary out at Dunbar Harbour this week.
“The visit was part of their John Muir Award, where they learned about the history of the harbour and the wildlife that call it home.”
