ACCOMMODATION could be created in the attic of a flat on Cockenzie High Street.
Plans lodged with East Lothian Council show that the existing two-bedroom flat would be split in two to create two maisonettes.
Designs from J&S Thompson Developments Ltd show the flat would be split in two on the first floor, with further accommodation created above.
A bedroom would remain on the first floor, alongside an open-plan kitchen and lounge area, in both properties.
In the former attic, one flat would feature two bedrooms and a shower room while the other property would feature one bedroom, a bathroom and storage space.
A decision is expected on the proposals by the middle of June.
