PROJECTS across East Lothian benefited from nearly £50,000 from the Scottish Crown Estate during the last financial year.
Revenues generated from Scottish Crown Estate marine assets are allocated to councils to support community benefit projects.
Between the 32 local authorities, a total of £11.1 million was paid out.
East Lothian Council received £48,827.
A spokesperson for East Lothian Council said: “This allocation has been used to support council countryside service activity across coastal sites in respect of maintaining paths, fixing bridges and steps, and general site maintenance and enhancements for our communities, public and visitors to East Lothian.”
