LOCAL people are being invited to apply for funding for community projects in the Musselburgh area.
Musselburgh Area Partnership has announced that cash-aid for initiatives in 2024/25 is now up for grabs.
Chair Gaynor Allen said: “The area partnership is giving out small pots of cash for projects throughout Musselburgh, Wallyford and Whitecraig that fit in with the criteria of the Musselburgh Area Plan.
“If you feel your project is a match, please contact us at musselburgh-ap@eastlothian.gov.uk for an application form and/or advice.”
The deadline is Friday (May 10).
Funding decision meetings will be held on June 10 and September 30.
The area partnership, which covers Musselburgh, Inveresk, Wallyford, Whitecraig, Carberry, Cousland and Old Craighall, manages a budget allocated by East Lothian Council for the local community.
The Musselburgh Area Plan 2019-24, drawn up by the area partnership, focuses on reducing inequalities in the community, ranging from poverty, health and transport to educational attainment.
