WHEELIE impressive floral displays could become prizewinners this summer.
Blooming Haddington is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the return of its wheelbarrow competition.
This year, for the first time, it is also allowing people to enter similar-sized planters with blooming great displays.
The entries will form the wheelbarrow and planter trail, which will be visited by judges from Keep Scotland Beautiful.
‘Cake and celebration’ is the theme for this year’s national competition.
Haddington’s wheelbarrow and planter trail will be split into four categories – individual, organisation, business and neighbourhood.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three in each category, with certificates for every entry.
Finally, a trophy will be presented to the overall winning entry.
Entries, with name, address and the relevant category, must be emailed to bloominghaddington@gmail.com before June 29 and the horticultural creations must be on display on July 27.
