A TRACTOR rally will take place through the county this weekend to help raise funds for a good cause.
East Lothian Ploughing Association’s annual tractor rally returns on Saturday, with tractor owners from throughout the country set to take part.
Setting off from Gosford Estate at 9am, tractors will travel past Longniddry, through Ballencrieff towards East Fortune, Whitekirk and Tyninghame.
The tractors will then travel back through Whitekirk, East Fortune, Athelstaneford, Ballencrieff and Aberlady before returning to Gosford House.
Those wishing to take part in the rally can register their tractor for £15 by emailing East Lothian Ploughing Association at elpasecretary@gmail.com
All tractors must be road legal and drivers must have a valid driving licence.
All money raised will be donated to cancer support charity Maggie’s Edinburgh. A raffle will be held after the rally, with donations for prizes also being sought.
