THE Old Oak takes to the big screen in Gifford Village Hall tomorrow (Friday).
Ken Loach’s film follows a pub owner in a previously thriving mining community who struggles to hold onto his establishment.
Meanwhile, tensions rise in the town when Syrian refugees are placed in empty houses.
Doors open at 7.30pm, with the film getting under way half an hour later.
Membership for Yester Community Movies Association is £30 for seven films and guests are £5 per film.
