TORRENTIAL rain has forced the closure of a busy section of the A1.
The decision has been taken to close the westbound (northbound) carriageway of the road between Dunbar and East Linton.
Traffic Scotland highlighted the issue at about 6.40pm today (Wednesday) and are advising motorists to use alternative routes if possible.
