A DUNBAR man has admitted being abusive to his partner at his home. Hamish Thomson behaved in a threatening or abusive manner towards the woman at his property on the town’s James Court.
He acted aggressively towards the woman and repeatedly shouted and swore at her. The 33-year-old also prevented his partner from leaving during the incident on February 18.
Thomson pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month.
Sheriff Stirling deferred sentence to next month and also ordered Thomson to appear for an assessment by the domestic abuse organisation Caledonian Men’s Programme before the next hearing.
