The A1 northbound between Tranent and Wallyford has reopened after being closed due to flooding.
The road was closed earlier this morning after surface water made the road unsafe to drive on.
Police Scotland has now confirmed that the road has reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A1 between Wallyford and Tranent (Dolphingstone) is now open in both directions.
“Please drive with care.”
The carriageway had been closed in both directions earlier this morning due to a collision. However, the southbound carriageway opened at about 7.50am this morning.
