SLOGANS have been daubed on the base of a sculpture on the outskirts of Dunbar.
The graffiti, which was highlighted on social media on Friday, was painted on the DunBear, to the east of the town’s Asda and McDonald’s.
The graffiti features "SNP OUT" and "SNP = SCUM".
The five-metre tall sculpture, created by renowned Scottish sculptor Andy Scott, has proven a popular attraction since it was unveiled beside the A1 in 2019.
Police Scotland told the Courier on Friday that they did not have anything on their system about the sculpture being vandalised.
