A RENOWNED American television writer has stopped off in East Lothian as part of his latest series.
Somebody Feed Phil, presented by Phil Rosenthal, returned for its seventh series at the start of the month.
And one of the first stops on his latest tour was Archerfield, where Phil, who was creator, writer and executive producer of Everybody Loves Raymond, visited.
The hit Netflix show follows the globetrotting gourmand as he samples culinary delights from across the world.
The Scottish episode aired last Monday and, as well as meeting celebrities such as actress Kelly Macdonald and chef Tony Singh, Phil samples doughnuts in Glasgow, a full Scottish breakfast in Leith, the Johnnie Walker Experience and a sophisticated Scotch egg at IJ Mellis.
He still found time to spend an afternoon at Archerfield playing golf.
