A DEBATE on what makes North Berwick the best place to live in the UK take place this afternoon (Friday) on live radio.
The popular coastal beauty spot became the first Scottish town to top the annual list compiled by The Sunday Times.
Seventy-two locations from across Great Britain and Northern Ireland were included in the prestigious list – www.thetimes.co.uk/best-places-to-live – which was released this morning.
North Berwick was top while East Linton was also singled out for praise by judges.

Ruth Davidson, leader of the Scottish Conservatives between 2011 and 2019, is among those appearing on Times Radio this afternoon from Herringbone on the High Street.
The North Berwick resident is expected to be joined by former Women’s British Open winner and two-time Solheim Cup winning captain Catriona Matthew, who grew up in the town and continues to reside there.
